A bear blog begins
Am I making a website or keeping a blog? I have flip-flopped a bit on this one. I started on Wordpress (briefly), and then discovered Neocities. I had a lot of fun learning a bit of HTML and CSS, which led to other things. I particularly loved the tool, Zonelets. However, something about the simplicity of what got me started way back1 has been lost, and I still desire it. Surfing around as one does, I stumbled across a few nice blogs on Bear Blog. After tentatively creating a few test posts, I was hooked. I’ll not promise to stay on this platform forever, but it does seem to offer a good mix of Markdown fun and ease of use.
I’ll not promise to stay on a platform forever, but I think I’ll be here for a while.
Please bear (haha) with as I transfer old posts over.
1 The idea of writing microblog entries on an index card, and then using OCR to scan into a Markdown post for quick upload.
