Saw a bit of that this week: 3rd party trying to force us to change our approach through intimidation. I had to have a call with them about it and managed to stay calm despite the arm waving and mockery—even got the outcome I wanted despite changing approach 💪. However, it was at the cost of our team’s design manager who walked out and went home. Not sure if he’ll be back, in which case we lose a massive amount of experience: and all companies will feel that one.
Sometimes, especially with the kids' school, I can see that bullies have their own context of trauma or insecurity. This time, I genuinely felt that this is just how they have learned to get what they want. What a disgusting way to do business.
